Biography

Angelina.Lina Arcuri. is an Italian artist who started to paint in Switzerland under Mike Session. She first studied art at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Feeling that drawing was the field of her new efforts, and the indispensable base of her art, she specialized under master Giovanni Spinicchia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. Winner of several awards, her works have been exhibited in many galleries and museum throughout the United States and abroad. In addition her work is in public and corporate collections. Her interest in active, contemporary art, led her to settle in Los Angeles, where she currently resides.

Statement

I endeavor to find the Essence and the Universal.

I intend to produce an enlightened state of mind in my spectator, doing liberated, spontaneous, not graceful, but at the same time serene and harmonious works.

They must reveal the highest quality as they are the means to improve the quality of my, my viewer's and universe's life.
